GPA Rule Enforcement & Shooter Conduct

At GPA, safety and fairness are the foundation of competition. Here’s how we keep things running smoothly:

• All participants must adhere to the official GPA Rulebook (current version 2025.6.2).

• Weapon handling and range safety are strictly enforced. The default starting position requires the shooter to stand with wrists below the belt and hands not touching the gun or loading devices.

• Ammunition management is the shooter’s responsibility. Magazines may be loaded to full capacity, and you may carry as many as you want.

• Each stage includes a mandatory reload (after the first shot and before the last)—you decide when and where.

• Targets may require movement, shooting while moving, or engaging multiple targets under time pressure.

Whether you’re a new shooter or experienced competitor, following these guidelines ensures a level playing field, fun competition, and a safe environment for all.
